The nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been announced. The finalists for the class of 2005 include The Sex Pistols, Patti Smith, The Stooges and The Pretenders among others. Ballots were mailed to voters this past week and are due back at the Hall of Fame by October 8. The 5-8 inductees should be announced in November, with ceremonies taking place next March.
