On October 25th ACE / Big Beat will be issuing a special 25th anniversary edition of The Damned's 1979 album Machine Gun Etiquette (originally released on November 9th 1979). The album has been re-mastered and features new liner notes by Robert Armstrong. It adds three previously unreleased tracks plus other rarities, along with the video for "Plan 9 Channel 7." The original 1979 artwork, not previously issued on CD, has also been restored.
On the same day the label will so reissue The Damned's Smash It Up single. It includes all four parts of the song (Part 3 by Captain Sensible and Part 4 being a previously unreleased Damned Wessex studio version) as well as the video.
You can find more info on these re-releases at the band's website. There is no word yet on North American release dates.
