A recent interview with Converge frontman, Jacob Bannon revealed the details on a number of upcoming projects. First, regarding the collaboration with Cave In; the band has been dubbed "Virgin." Bannon had this to say about the project:
We are still in the process of recording and refining the material. There are more songs also slated to be recorded in the future. I was only there for two days of the first recording session. It was a guitar heavy environment. With three very fantastic guitar players in one room.
The remixed and remastered re-releases of Petitioning The Empty Sky and When Forever Comes Crashing have both audio and video portions completed and are expected in early 2005. Last, Bannon's solo project Dear Lover, consisting of minimal electronic music has completed two records and they are now being mixed and edited with a early 2005 release planned as well.
