THICK Records has signed Fingers Cut Megamachine. The Los Angeles based group features the songwriting of ex-Osker frontman Devon Williams. The label describes the act in terms of "an ecletic mix of americana meets punk - think Wilco meets Westerberg, where torch meets twang." The project will shift between a full band, a guitar duo, and Williams as a soloist. The debut FCMM full length is set for release in early 2005. The band has had a few songs online at their website for almost a year now, check them out.
