The Subcity Take Action! Tour is set to begin in February 2005. While the full line up hasn't been confirmed yet, as of today, the fifth installment of the charity tour will include headlining act Sugarcult with The Early November, Hawthorne Heights and Head Automatica supporting. More acts are expected to be announced soon.
The tour will once again support the National Hopeline Network, a suicide prevention and crisis hotline (1-800-SUICIDE). The project will also benefit a new feature of the Hopeline: the Youth America Hotline! 1-877-YOUTHLINE (1-877-968-8454), a peer-to-peer line pairing youth callers up with youth crisis workers in their area. In the past four years, the tour and corresponding CD compilations have raised over $170,000 for the National Hopeline Network and parent sponsor Sub City has raised over $470,000 for multiple charities.
