Henry Rollins will be producing a new show on the Independent Film Channel which has been dubbed Henry's Film Corner. The program will focus on Henry's reviews and commentary on films which slip by mainstream media, and will also feature interviews with directors and other people involved with the films.
First up will be director David Fincher of Fight Club and Panic Room and plan to discuss the Niels Mueller-directed Assassination of Richard Nixon, Assassination of Richard Nixon, as well as Wes Anderson's upcoming Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and the 40th edition of Kubrick's Cold War classic, Dr. Strangelove.
The show will premiere on December 4th at 9:00pm PST.
In more Rollins-related news, 2.13.61 will be reissuing Get In The Van to coincide with the books tenth anniversary. The book, which collections Rollins' diaries from his days on tour with Black Flag, will contain fifty pages of new material, including never before seen pictures and all of the band's flyers from the years that Henry was in the band. A special autographed hardcover printing of the book will be made available to order directly from the publisher.
