While many had dismissed the Pilfers after they were dropped my Mojo (Universal), new updates to the band's website has revealed what Coolie Ranx and co. are up to: The band has recorded 4 new songs that will end up on an EP or the next album. The songs have already been included in the bands live set, they are: "Leave", "Bossa", "Chain Reaction" and "Can't take your Place". Also, after their March European tour, the Pilfers are looking to play as many shows on College campuses as they can. If you book shows at your school or know someone who does, email Randy08@aol.com. The band is looking to play anytime after April 25th. The lack of a record label has not been addressed. Their debut album has sold 10,000 CDs without a record-label contract or much of a marketing budget. Live shows, street teams, and the MP3 phenomena have helped promote the band. Their Mojo-album sold about the same number, so the band may take the independent route again. Sources: Pilfers, Business Week Article .
