On March 8th Hellcat Records will release a second collection of Dropkick Murphys tracks appropriately titled The Singles Collection, Vol. 2. The 22 track CD will feature songs the band recorded in the span of 1998 to 2004 for various singles, compilations or split CDs. They band commented "It is by no means an exhaustive list but incorporates most of the good stuff. Anything that's not here either sounded bad, we couldn't find or forgot about. Thanks to all the labels for asking us to be part of their releases and to the bands who inspired us and don't mind us butchering their songs." Volume 1 of the collection, featuring material from Mike McColgan's time as the lead vocalist, was released back in 2000.
