Thrice has posted a number of updates on their website today. The band will join the Vans Warped Tour for the upcoming 2005 Summer tour. Prior to that, they plan to hit a number of festivals, among them the upcoming Great Bamboozle in April.
The band has also started a Studio Journal as they record the follow up to The Artist and the Ambulance. The new record will feature artwork by author Dave Eggers.
Along with the new record, they will release So Strange I Remember You on March 29th. The band describes it as:
[T]he story of our first six years as a band and will feature interviews with pretty much everyone who's worked with us as well as a lot of live footage spanning from our time playing in living rooms and garages to everything we did this past year. Accompanying the DVD will be an EP which has all of our bsides from the Illusion of Safety and The Artist in the Ambulance as well as all of the compilation tracks we've done.
