On January 20th, the Virgin Megastores will be hosting a 100-act concert to raise relief funds for victims in Banda Aceh, the province in Indonesia that was one of the hardest hit by the December 26 disaster. People who attend the concert will be offered the chance to purchase a bracelet which will allow them an opportunity to show their support for the event. Each Virgin Megastore will also display donation boxes and host a silent auction, with all proceeds from the bracelets, donation boxes and auction going to the fundraising effort.

Each venue will host a different 5-act line up, with The Goodwill and Dillinger Escape Plan playing the Times Square store in New York and other bands throughout the chain's twenty stores. More acts will be confirmed in the days to come. The full press release is available here.
