The Lawrence Arms have made another update regarding their upcoming B-sides compilation. In it, they announce May as a release month (still via Asian Man), which two songs from Ghost Stories are being re-recorded ("Turnstyles" and "The Old Timers 2x4"), and a (very) tentative title for the record: The Corner Of Page And Ocean Avenues.
Also, in related news, The Falcon's new site is up and running. You can click here to check it out. The band released God Don't Make Trash Or Up Your Ass With Broken Glass towards the end of last year. We also interviewed Brendan Kelly about the band here.
Good morning ladies. Good evening gentlemen. There are lots of exciting things going on right now, not the least of which is the re-mixing of the split EP with Shady View Terrace for the b-sides record. I know, you're supposed to have hits before you can have a B-sides record. Yes, very incisive.
Also included in the exciting things that are happening right now is the completion of the re-recording of two songs off of our old record Ghost Stories. We re-recorded Turnstiles and The Old Timers 2x4. They both turned out pretty good, methinks, but not as good as the new song that we recorded which is called Intransit. These three gems will also appear on the B-sides record. It's tentatively entitled "The Corner of Page and Ocean Avenues" and it's set to drop (um…do the kids still say 'drop'?) in May on Asian Man Records.
