Tacoma, WA's The Mexican Blackbirds have been working on a new EP, the first in a series to be released on Austin, TX based Mortville Records in the spring of this year. The band spent 2004 supporting their latest release, Just To Spite You, released in late `03 on Dirtnap Records.

The band's only scheduled show for this month is on the 29th at Bob's Java Jive in Tacoma. Check the band's website for details soon.
