Jericho's Echo: Punk Rock in the Holy Land, Director Liz Nord's documentary about the Israeli punk scene has been completed. The film, which counts among it's advisors Ian MacKaye, documents the current situation in Israel via the perspective of the punk scene, and includes topics ranging from the Israeli Religious Right, to suicide bombings and the future of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Nord had this to say:

Jericho's Echo: Punk Rock in the Holy Land is DONE! Ta-daaaa! Weighing in at a healthy 75 minutes long, the movie was completed last week, and let me just say, "IT RULES!" Congratulations and thanks to the production team. We can't wait to share it with you all, which brings us to the next topic at hand:

The team is planning a special sneak preview event in San Francisco along with a Q & A with the director. The March 17th, 2005 screening will take place at the 16th Street Victoria Theatre. The film has also been accepted at the The Tel Aviv International Documentary Festival and will be shown between April 7th and 16th.
