Boy Sets Fire has confirmed the authenticity of an announcement on their message board which says that the band has parted ways with Wind Up Records and their management.
The band stated that:
[the] new record has been scheduled to come out for over 6 months now and as of yet it has unfortunately not even been recorded. We were not comfortable with bending our music and/or message in any way due to what other people believed would make us bigger than we are. […] To compromise our vision of this unit was not a choice.
The band released Tomorrow Come Today on their former label in 2003. They have also announced a handful of tour dates in the US prior to their stint on the upcoming Deconstruction Tour.
