For anyone who doesn't know, a Juno is the Canadian equivalent of a Grammy. Lots of us were rooting for The Weakerthans, so it's too bad to see them lose. Better luck next year guys!" Well, punk or not, the Weakerthans are an amazing band, and write truly beautiful songs. I suppose you could call them post-punk, or something cliched like that, but regardless, any Jawbreaker, Alkaline Trio or even Promise Ring fan would be missing out if they didn't give the Weakerthans a listen.
