All With An I has announced their breakup on their website. The band posted the following in regards:

In case you haven't already heard the rumors, Alli With An I is breaking up. It's all because of the high damn gas prices, just kidding. Lots of people have been asking us why, so this is going to be our official obituary. We are NOT breaking up because of some personal problems we have with each other. We love each other more than anything and we will always be best friends…Being in a band is really like dating other people in a polygamous sort of way and like any relationship there comes a time to let go. None of us want this to happen, but it just has to be done.

The band will be playing two final shows at Ace's Basement in Greensboro, NC, on May 6th at 5:30 PM and 9:15 PM. Shoot The Moon Media will be shooting the performances for a DVD to be released soon thereafter, as well. You can check out the show flyer here.
