The Aquabats have announced that their upcoming release Charge! will be released on June 7th, a week earlier than originally scheduled. The disc is the follow up to 2004's self-released Yo, Check Out This Ride.

The band has also announced a two day "tour" with Japan's Puffy Ami Yumi. The first date at the Wiltern theatre in Los Angeles on April 29th and the second at SOMA in San Diego on April 30th
