New Breed vocalist Jonny Stevens has launched a new website at jonnystevens.ca. There you can find info on his upcoming solo project along with downloads of the songs "Fire From the Sky," "Make Amends," and "You Can't Take Me." Backing him up is bassist Basil Chaison (Hopping Penguins, One) and drummer / percussionist Tim Baker (Matt Mays/the Mellotones). Steven's first solo record is in the works now, produced by Charles Austin (Buck 65, Joel Plaskett, Matt Mays, Super Friendz). No announcement has been made on a release date just yet.

In the coming month Jonny has a solo gig lined up on May 13th supporting Greg MacPherson. In addition he will appear at the Halifax Celtic Feis at the Marquee Club on June 4th. As previously announced the New Breed themselves will be on the road in May and June as well with the Wednesday Night Heroes and later the Downbelows.
