Guitarist Mike Risinger has left Sinai Beach, this coming on the heels of Immersed, the band's Victory debut. Risinger had this to say:
"Hey everybody. Well, the time has come for me to leave the band. I feel like my work is done and it is time to move on. I have sat on this for a while now, and it is time to let go. Sometimes in life you just know when you're done, know what I mean? I have accomplished a lot. These last 3 years have been great. I got to see the world, make tons of friends, and record, in my opinion, the heaviest record that I and the guys have ever made. This band is in for some serious touring and a lot of work coming up, and to be honest it is a commitment I am not suited for. Let it be known that me and the guys are on the best of terms and they will eternally be my brothers.
The remainder of the message can be found on the band's website. They will soon be heading out on tour with labelmates Comeback Kid as well as Terror and Modern Life is War.
