A reader wrote in with some news that we missed in April from the Bruisers. The band, which was home to Al Barr prior to him joining the Dropkick Murphys, has two reunion shows in the works. Guitarist Jeff Morris announced on their website that a CBGBs date was slated for this May but has since been shelved. Since they have to work around Al's Warped Tour commitments this summer, the show(s) should now be expected in September. When it happens there are plans for a date in Boston as well as New York City. More details will be announced when they're confirmed.
