Horse The Band has signed to the newly relaunched Combat Records. According to lambgoat, the label is a joint project of two companies. The first, Entertainment Services Unlimited is the management company that includes Every Time I Die, Lamb of God and others. The other is distributor Koch .

The band entered the studio on May 13th to record their second full-length and will remain in the studio with producer Matt Bayles (Blood Brothers, Botch, Mastodon) until June 3rd. The record is titled Super Horse The Band and the band has promised a release "no later than" September 1st.

The band's last album, R. Borlax, was released through Pluto Records in 2003.
