Fractured Transmitter has released the first track from their upcoming tribute to the Melvins.
The record, titled We Reach: The Music of the Melvins is expected on August 23rd after being pushed back from the original May 10th date. The disc will feature covers from Dillinger Escape Plan, High On Fire, Dog Fashion Disco, Disengage, Pig Destroyer and Mare, among others.
The track features Isis and Agoraphobic Nosebleed performing the Melvins' track "Boris" and you can find that collaboration here: Isis/Agoraphobic Nosebleed - "Boris"
Isis recently issued Panopticon, their second release for Mike Patton's Ipecac Records. The Melvins themselves recently released Never Breathe What You Can't See, their collaboration with Dead Kennedys vocalist Jello Biafra. They will release Sieg Howdy!, the follow up, this September.
