Jericho's Echo: Punk Rock in the Holy Land, Director Liz Nord's documentary about the Israeli punk scene will soon be screened in the Pacific Northwest. The film, which counts among it's advisors Ian MacKaye, documents the current situation in Israel via the perspective of the punk scene, and includes topics ranging from the Israeli Religious Right, to suicide bombings and the future of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The film included appearances from Israeli bands like Useless ID who recently released Redemption and Man Alive who joined the Miltia Group roster in June.
Liz was recently interviewed by Punk Planet and has also announced plans to screen the film in New York City and Boston this November.
