Cursive recently sent out an email indicating their plans for a series of "unannounced" shows. The band recently took some time to begin writing for their next full-length and hopes to release the record through Saddle Creek in 2006. The album will follow up both their recent collection of 7 inch and unreleased tracks, The Difference Between Houses And Homes (Lost Songs And Loose Ends 1995-2001), and 2003's The Ugly Organ.
According to the email, the shows are all ages, and prices will range from free to $8. The band will be performing under a number of pseudonyms including Flippy and Hambone, T Lite & the Heavies, Jazz Hessian, Cursifix, Stuffy Dumbfuck, and Sgt. Snippy
