Rat Scabies, drummer of the legendary Damned was the focus of the recently released book, Rat Scabies and the Holy Grail. In a recent article for the Fortean Times, Scabies along with author Christopher Dawes explained a little about his post-Damned life and how it took him on a search for the Holy Grail and the resulting book.
In related news, the Damned have announced the release of the three CD box set Play It At Your Sister. The box set will include the recorded works from June 1976 - Sept 1977 including Damned, Damned, Damned and Music For Pleasure in addition to the tracks compiled from the 'In Concert' and 'Peel Sessions' of the era. Of specific interest is also the inclusion of the previously unreleased infamous Mont-De-Marsan concert of 1978.
