Deep Elm has signed London, England's Fightstar, who features Charlie Simpson, an ex-member of the popular North London pop/rock trio Busted.

A release date has not been determined thus far for the band's label debut, They Liked You Better When You Were Dead, produced by Colin Richardson (Funeral for a Friend, the Exploited, Napalm Death, Slipknot).

The band has several October headlining dates in the U.K. lined up in support of the album. My Awesome Compilation and MC Lars will join the trek.
