Chicago-based Troubled Hubble announced that Thursday, September 29th will be the date of their final show. According to the band, the split is due to "reasons both physical and personal." On September 18th, the band cancelled all remaining dates on the tour with the exception of the 29th.
The band made this statement about the split:
It's been an amazing journey for all of us over the last six years, and we're so thankful to all of our friends and family for supporting us along the way, not to mention all the amazing friends and fans we've met all over the country. You have no idea how much we'll miss seeing you!
The quartet released a number of full lengths and EPs including 2002's Penturbia and 2005's Making Beds in a Burning House. The band has also indicated plans for a posthumous DVD to be released this Winter.
