Newest Industry has signed Melbourne, Australia's A Death in the Family. The group includes former members of H-Block 101 and Fast Times and will be releasing their debut on February 1st, 2006. The album will be released on the band's own Poison City Records in Australia and New Zealand.
The band is currently in the studio with Frankie Stubbs of Leatherface. The label draws comparisons between the band as their influences, Husker Du and Leatherface and has posted two demo tracks: "Ends Never Meet" and "Red Sky."
