Freya, one of the bands formed from the remnents of Earth Crisis, has posted an update on their plans for the next few months.

The band recently added drummer Dennis Merrick, formerly of Earth Crisis to their lineup. The band is planning some shows with If Hope Dies this Winter and Spring. Freya is also scheduled to participate in a PETA2 benefit in Boston this winter. The lineup will also include Shadows Fall and First Blood.

Vocalist Karl Buechner recently joined A Perfect Murder on their last tour, he filled in for vocalist Kevin Randel who eventually left the band. Karl will also perform on the next full length from straight edge band, Damnation AD.

The band has also completed the writing process for the follow up to As the Last Light Drains, the band's 2003 debut. The new record is titled Lift the Curse. Recording and release dates have not yet been announced.
