J Church will tour the south east US next week en route to and from their appearance at the Fest 4 in Gainesville, FL. The band will be joined on the tour by Japan's the Urchin.
The Fest show should also coincide with the release of the J Church / Flamingo 50 split 7". A long awaited split 7" with Minority Blues Band is also due sometime this month.
These dates will also be the final shows until the release of the band's follow up to 2004's Society is a Carnivorous Flower. Tentative titles for the record include The Horror Of Life (also a planned title for what became One Mississippi), Secular Music and Signifier/Signified. There are no release details yet, but the participation of No Idea is once again expected.
