Dan Precision has left Break The Silence. The veteran guitarist previously performed with 88 Fingers Louie and Rise Against, the latter of which he was removed from in 2001.
Dan had this to say:
I have decided that I want to spend more time in my recording studio (The Bombshelter) than on the road away from other friends and family. I feel that I've been very fortunate to have seen what I've seen and to have done what I've done., but now it's finally time to shift gears. The Bombshelter has been growing year after year and has been taking up much of my time. If I tried to continue with both BTS and my studio, I know that I would be doing a disservice to both because I just wouldn't be able to put in the time that was needed.
The full statement can be found here. The band previously released their Hopeless debut, Near Life Experience, and Dan is currently producing the upcoming full-length from Punknews Records band Ryan's Hope, Apocalypse In Increments, due out early 2006.
