Equal Vision act Chiodos has been added to the 2006 edition of the Take Action Tour. The band joins previously announced headliners, Matchbook Romance as well as Silverstein, The Early November, Amber Pacific, Hit The Lights, I Am Ghost, We Are The Fury, Roses Are Red and Paramore.

The band issued All's Well That Ends Well, their first full length for Equal Vision this year.

In related news, Punknews.org will be among the supporters sponsoring this years tour. The Take Action mandate seeks to increase awareness and raise funds to support the National Hopeline Network, 1-800-SUICIDE(784-2433), which offers young people a network of their peers to turn to in times of crisis.

Besides the tour, the organizers mounted a successful campaign to have their voices heard by legislators in Washington and requesting funding for a national suicide prevention strategy and asking that mental-health parity in health insurance coverage is implemented for all Americans.
