Jump Start Records has announced some of their plans for the new year.
Giving Chase will be releasing a new record in the new year. They entered the studio in October with Nick Rotundo at Clay Creek Studios (None More Black, Boy Sets Fire, Paint It Black) to record the follow up to Nothing Ever Changes and will wrap up vocal tracking next week. Mixing is scheduled for the third week of January. Besides the full length, the label has also scheduled a new 7-inch in the spring.
The label's exclusive Diver 7-inch from Nitro act (and former Jump Start band) A Wilhelm Scream is scheduled for pre-sale beginning on New Year's Day. The first pressing will be of a thousand on grey/blue splatter vinyl. The records will be hand-numbered, and come with a full color, glossy sleeve. The first 50 pre-orders for this record will receive a limited edition hand screenprinted poster autographed by the band. Also due out from the band will be a discography release of material released as Smackin' Isaiah, which is expected sometime in the year.
Divide By Zero, which saw frontman T.J. join Victory Records' Spitalfield has vowed to continue on. They have some new material written and hopes are that it will be released sometime soon as well.
