Vaux has sent out an update on the progress of Beyond Virtue, Beyond Vice, their record previously scheduled for release on Atlantic Records which has remained in legal limbo since the band split with the label in October.
They had this to say:
We are very close to getting the rights and masters to "Beyond Virtue, Beyond Vice". My guess is that we will have total ownership by the end of January. Then we will be looking at lots of different record labels for its release. Once we have chosen a label and get a couple other things straight, we will be hitting the road hard in support of its release. So to everyone who has been sending us messages to come play their city don't sweat, it will happen this year probably multiple times. We can't wait to get back in action and its coming soon so bear with us. Thanks for your support!!!
The band signed to the label in January 2004 after releasing their their debut, There Must Be Some Way To Stop Them on Volcom. That album was followed by the Plague Music EP, released on Equal Vision.
