Brampton, Ontario's Bombs Over Providence have called it quits. The band, which has been working out of Toronto, recently released the full length Shake Your Body Politic on Underground Operations. Excerpted from the announcement on their MySpace page:

After being chewed up and spit out by the big bad music industry, this fragile little band has decided it's time for us to move on. It was fun, but it's not anymore. Thank you to everyone who has supported us in any way - especially any and all fans we may have accumulated throughout the last 5 years…

We can tell you though, that you will hear from us again. We're going to take some time with any and all new projects, and get back to the reason why we started a band in the first place: to make music and have fun doing it.

This is the second high break-up of a high profile Underground Operations band in recent months, as the label's flagship act Closet Monster played their final show in December.
