Rise Against has recorded some tracks for upcoming tributes. According to Alternative Press, the band recorded "Boys No Good," for a tribute to melodic hardcore outfit Lifetime which is set to appear on A Tribute to Lifetime: 1990-1997 which is expected later this year via Photo Finish Records.
The band also recorded a cover of Sick Of It All's "Built To Last." Vocalist Tim McIlrath described their take as a "more melodic vocal approach." The song will appear on a tribute set to be released by Sick Of It All's current label, Abacus.
The band recently beganwork on their new full length with producer Bill Stevenson at a studio in Wicker Park. The band is working on their sophomore album for Geffen and the follow up to Siren Song of the Counterculture.
