My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way has designed a new limited edition Hurley jacket called Prom Knight. The jacket will be limited to 600 and will be available directly from Hurley and Smartpunk.com.

Proceeds from the sale of the jackets benefiting Boarding For Breast Cancer, a non-profit, youth-focused education, awareness, and fundraising foundation that focuses on creating awareness about breast cancer, the importance of early detection and the value of a healthy lifestyle.

The concept for the jacket stems from Way's "customizations" of Hurley's first blazer jacket which involved cutting holes in the fabric, spray painting and adding safety pins. This led to the customizing of the jacket which described as "black slim-fit blazer with red satin lining, red stitching along the front pockets, lapels and distressing; and zipper cuffs."
