Shnarler Records announced that they will merge operations with fellow Florida label Omerta Group Records. The Shnarler Records catalogue, including their straight edge compilation and the debut from XReign of TerrorX will now be available from Omerta. Omerta meanwhile has recently released the EP Long Drives and Lullabies from Words Now Heard, a singer / songwriter project from Christ Martin. Martin's played guitar in a number of bands including Glasseater and Unsung Zeros.

Shnarler Music, the TV / film publishing arm of the company, will remain outside of the merger. Two bands represented by the company, Big City Dreams and the Know How, will perform together in the Gainesville ASCAP / MySpace showcase on February 24th.
