Strummer Camp 2006 is set to take place on Saturday May 27th and Sunday May 28th at the Burnage Rugby Club in Manchester, England. The event will "celebrate the musical influence and works of Joe Strummer" and feature performances by Carbon Silicon (The Clash's Mick Jones and Generation X's Tony James) as well as a host of other acts including Goldblade, David Rovics, Kings of the Delmar, Asia Carrera, Take the 5th, Night of Treason, the Hyperjax, Havana A Go Go, Attila the Stockbroker, Doktor Mandrake, the Marder, Ged Graham, Cheapskates and more. Other guests will include Barry "Scratchy" Myers, who DJ'd on tour with the Clash and later the Mescaleros, Clash road manager (and author of A Riot of Our Own) Johnny Green and many more.
