Ferret act Misery Signals, who parted ways with their vocalist this past January, have filled the position with a Canadian vocalist named Karl.

The band also briefly mentioned some of their plans, saying:

We have been working on material for our upcoming record for the last few months and things are coming along really well. We have begun doing demos of the new songs and we are all really excited about the way the songs are turning out. We have some really exciting tour news that we cant announce just yet, but rest assured it is awesome. We plan to make a formal release about all things mentioned above really soon. It will include news about the new album, tours and our new singer.

The band released their last full length, Of Malice and the Magnum Heart in 2004.
