Details on the upcoming Ska Weekend 2006 are now availibe. The festival will take place in Knoxville, TN at the Old City on Saturday April 29th. The confirmed lineup includes bands like Westbound Train, King Django, Big D & The Kids Table, the Pietasters, Catch 22, the Know How, the Flatliners, Hub City Stompers, High School Football Heroes and many more.
The Ska Weekend is now in its fourth year, having originated as a concert series in Powell, TN. The event supports the Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee. To contribute to the food bank attendees will need to provide 5 cans of food along with the $15 dollar door price to the show. For more info see the event's website at skaweekend.com.
