Plan-It-X Records has two new records out and plans for more on the horizon.
Your Heart Breaks will be releasing her new album New Ocean Waves in a split venture between PIX and Masa Records. Chris describes Serene's new album as "sweet pop songs in a homo-core, indy rock-Punk kind of way."
Michael Jordan's Touchdown Pass is a one man band from Brattleboro, Vermont, consisting of a fifteen year old. Cash, Money Etc. is descirbed as "a very nice mix of sounds like, built to spill, the weakerthans and a little bit of his big brothers [Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains] edge." This release is a split release with Spare change and the DIY Bandits.
Other records and projects in the works include a Stress Face Full Length, a split between Madeline and Dead Bird, Dave Dean's Musical Forklift Dvd Movie, the Max Levine Ensemble full length, Henry Rollins and the Sweater Band DVD and a Plan-It-X-History Zine. In label news, Chris is currently looking to move the base of operations from Bloomington, IN, where the label has operated since it's inception in 1994.
Plan-It-X will be hosting the Plan-It-X Fest 2006 in Bloomington and will feature educational classes and shows with performances from Toys That Kill, Modern Machines, This Bike is a Pipe Bomb, One Reason, Hot New Mexicans, What The Kids Want, Madeline, Latterman, Defiance, Ohio, and Ghost Mice.
