Relapse has signed Jucifer. The duo from Athens, Georgia has earned comparisons to a number of artists, from "Minor Threat to the Carpenters, Slayer to Sleep, Hendrix to Malmsteen, Veruca Salt to My Bloody Valentine, Pixies, Pantera, Portishead, Nirvana and Napalm Death. "

The band is prepping their forthcoming Relapse debut, At the Hands Of Our Intercessors which promises "Valentine's trademark sultry vocals layered over colossal guitars and drums (courtesy of Edward Livengood)." The record is due out in early Fall.
