A source close to the band has confirmed with Punknews.org that Lifetime will be embarking on a short tour this July, mentioned earlier by bassist Dave Palaitis. Currently a July 15th date at Chicago's Metro is confirmed on the 10-day journey around the Midwest and Northeastern United States with more to follow soon. The source also promises "some pretty awesome opening bands" for the tour and that we should expect dates in major cities on the eastern seaboard and Midwest.
Lifetime has been extremely active lately for a band that broke up nearly 10 years ago, playing the Bamboozle, the West Coast and a charity show with My Chemical Romance.
Punknews.org also had the pleasure to speak with Dr. Dan concerning the band's signing to Pete Wentz's Decaydance label as well as a lengthy two part interview during their West Coast tour.
