Sonic Youth have announced the initiial dates for a U.S. tour with Flaming Lips supporting. More are expected to be announced later.
The headliners will be out in support of their forthcoming full-length, Rather Ripped, due out June 13th via Geffen. Flaming Lips are supporting this year's effort, At War with the Mystics.
Both bands are also set to play this year's Lollapalooza installment at Chicago's Grant Park, which will take place from August 4th through the 6th.
