Details have been announced for the upcoming Ovrcast Festival set for June 6th, 2006 in Los Angeles. According to the organizers: "The prevailing themes for this year's festival are June Gloom and the idea of discordance as rebellion" and an accordingly discordant and gloomy line up has been assembled, including hardcore and sludge acts High On Fire, Oxbow, Saviours, Wires on Fire.

The weeklong festival will commence on Monday, 6/5/06 with a kick-off concert at Chinatown Los Angeles' famed Mountain Bar. The festival's music programming will culminate at the Hollywood Vanguard on Tuesday, 6/6/06 with a surprise performance by a band to be announced later this month.
