Hellcat act Left Alone have announced some touring plans as well as unveiled the cover art for their upcoming third album and second for Hellcat. Titled Dead American Radio, the album is due out August 8th. It follows up their 2005 release, Lonely Starts & Broken Hearts.
The band enlisted a number of musicians to help with performing and writing the record. Patricia Day of the Horrorpops co-wrote and sang on one song with the band: "La Pregunta," and also added stand up bass to "Done Wrong." Tim Armstrong of Rancid, Transplants and Operation Ivy co-wrote a ska-tinged track titled "City to City" and also lends his voice to the recording.
The long-running band recently celebrated their tenth anniversary, and will spend some time this summer on the D.I.Y. stage of the Warped Tour.
