Hardcore act Righteous James has signed to Abacus. The band made the announcement:
We've been quiet for some time, but here's the scoop: we've signed to Abacus Recordings! We're really excited to be working with these hardworking folks and to be on a roster with Sick Of It All, Ignite, the Distance, Sworn Enemy, as well as Stillborn Records! We've begun work on the new CD, entitled "Business As Usual." We're recording with Dean Baltulonis at Atomic Studios in Brooklyn again and the CD should be finished in mid-July and will be out in October. Our boys at Lockin' Out will be doing the vinyl again.
The album will follow their 2004 full length, Rage of Discipline and you can check out two songs from that album on their myspace page.
Prior to the release, the band is planning a four week tour beginning in late July followed by shows with Gorilla Biscuits and "tons of dates on our own." For more on the band, you can check out their profile.
