Though a 2005 release was promised back in 2004, Nora has finally been able to begin demoing material for the long-awaited follow up to 2003's Dreamers and Deadmen for Trustkill. Previous releases also included a split with Dillinger Escape Plan.
The band, which includes Carl Severson (of hardcore/metal powerhouse Ferret) had this to say about the progress:
In news, well, as far as Nora goes..we've entered the next stage of our writing process. We're in talks with Rob Cagiano (who produced the excellent Bleeding Through record "The Truth", among other things), and are just about to nail down a time to get into the studio. We're hard at work doing the weeding-out process for the stuff we've written, so…there's a lot of arguing. That's normal, though, if there wasn't arguing, it wouldn't be Nora.
The band adds: "Now..go to the Nora store, and buy yourself lots of cool summer stuff…and then cut the sleeves off, because that's always cool." The working title for the record is Save Yourself.
