Ska/punk act The Suburban Legends suffered from a theft in Cincinnati, OH this past week. To add insult to injury, the perpetrators alledgedly set the band's touring van on fire after comitting the act.
The band described the situation:
Early this morning July 19th around 4:30 am Central time, our van saw its last day. We were woken up by Phil yelling "THE VAN IS ON FIRE!!" Steeping out side it was like a dream, it almost didn't seem real. The fire was burning in the front cab of the driver side. With a garden hose we were able to put the fire out and soon after that the fire department showed up. After the fire was out we soon discovered that our tour cash had been stolen.
The band is trying to maintain their tour schedule, though admits they may miss some shows. The group is on the road with Catch 22, Big D & The Kids Table, Voodoo Glow Skulls,Westbound Train on the Summer of Ska.
